SUMMARY

As businesses are becoming more international these days, there are always some linguistic problems happening at the meantime. Translating English brand-names or slogans into Asian language can be particularly difficult for some famous American corporations; also, mistranlations can sometimes happen beyongd anyone's control, and a tramslation is accurate, marketing can be undermines by local slang; what's more, companies get in trouble even when they don't attempt translations. Sometimes translation blunders don't just belong to big businesses also make some bonehead mistakes. Furthermore, all these translation mistakes can cause failure in business and can bring great loss. Inorder to eschew these problems, companies should get literate native speaker to do their translations-and double-check them before they go to press.

At present, from TV, newspaper, and radio, we can frequently receive the negative news about adolescence---many of them are extremely awful with their school work, and some even drop out of school. Why are these things happening?  According to my experience when I was a high school student, I think the main reasons can be four as followed: losing confidence and being devoid of encouragement, laziness, weak self-control, and lack of interest.

One of the most significant reasons which lead to failure in courses for students may be attribute to laziness. A successful PhD ever told me that learning can be the hardest thing in the world, but if ones can overcome the difficulties during the hard time, being successful in the future will be possible.  Almost every student comprehends the PhD means, but only few perfectly accomplish the work. One of ancient Chinese students who was determined to overcome his laziness even hurt himself by tying his head to the beam above him and pricking his thigh with an awl in order to avoiding to fall in asleep when learning. He was not taught, but toiled hard of his own accord. Eventually, the student reached the culmination of his life in subsequent exams and became a distinguished officer. This story is widespread among the Chinese students. It is widely accepted that if ones are work-hard, there will likely be something good happening on them.

The second importantly, losing confidence in their school works and devoid of encouragement, as far as I am concerned, can be a serious problem for a student because hone may feel ashamed after failure and reluctant to face the problems, which may cause a vicious circle in one’s curriculum. At the meantime, no one gives him or her encouragement can also make the situation more troublesome. For instance, my classmate-Zhao, who used to be adept at math when he was in grade two, got worst score in math in grade three.  Few of us knew the truth and felt confusing of his experience. One day, I had a short conversation with him, and I comprehended the reason eventually. He told me that once he failed in an exam, the teacher strictly criticized him which made him felt dramatically discouraged and afraid of exams. Therefore, he usually felt ill during math exams and finally became unsuccessful in math. To some extent, Zhao’s failure is caused by harsh critique of teacher and his lack of confidence.

Furthermore, some students are weak on self-control, which also may cause their failure in academy. It is common that many students are addicted in computer games, and some of them even give up going to school. From my opinion, those who choose to be with computer games instead of school indeed do not know how to control themselves when facing temptation. On the contrary, however, people who are always resolute can make the change with their mark.  One famous Chinese high school student who was admitted by Harvard University acknowledged that she had been infatuated with an Internet game, but after experiencing failure in school, she felt guilty and decide to have something changed. Eventually, she did it and became famous. It is vital to control oneself, if one wants to be successful.
A lack of interest can cause failure in college as well. There is an old Chinese saying: the
best teacher is one’s interest. I definitely agree with that. As a top student in chemistry in my school, I think it tremendous important to learn with interest. I always spend time on Internet to communicate with knowledgeable people while others playing games. For me I think I am exhilarant

First week in America

I am from China, and  I came to America on 9th March。
As far as I am concerned, America is a incredible country because the government allows dwellers to possess guns! I cannot understand how free this country is, and I find some implusible occupations here---one of those which impressed me most is that a political commentator. In China, people are restricted to talk more about their government, and if someone disobeied, he would be sentenced!
The view here is also wonderful; I got a picture from the space, and found that the color was totally green! Altanta, the city where I live in, is just like a garden.
I love this city, this country.
What's more, I find many people here are willing to share their achievement---the sciensemadness.org can be an instance. many residents in the forum shared their experience and results of experment, I learn a lot from that website; all in all, I love a place with such a wonderful acedemic circumstance.
So,that is all, my friends, I wish you a good day.
